Show Your Shorts

Back by popular demand, Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre will once again host the popular Show Your Shorts Video Festival on Friday June 6th 2008. The screening, beginning at 7:30pm in the Modern Fuel Gallery (21A Queen St.), will feature a number of short films created by people from, or with ties to, Kingston's Queer community. Please don't forget to wear your shorts if you got 'em!

This event is part of the 2008 Kingston Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride festival, which takes place annually in Kingston during the month of June. Show Your Shorts is co-sponsored by PrideArtsFest, Modern Fuel Artist Run Centre and reelout queer film+video festival.

Artist Talk with Adrian Stimson

Preceeding the Show Your Shorts screening at 7pm there will be a talk given by performance artist Adrian A. Stimson. Stimson's subversively popular Buffalo Boy persona will participate in this year's Kingston Pride Parade as part of Modern Fuel's 2008 Art in the Street Programming.
