In their triumphant return to Kingston’s music scene, hometown heroes The Nooks will take Modern Fuel Gallery by storm, on Saturday June 9th in the much anticipated fundraising concert Fueling the Fuel to raise money for Kingston’s only Artist-Run Centre.
The Nooks, comprised of well known veterans of the local music and art scenes including Chris Lyon, Kevin Williams, Jay Berezny, and Tristan Adams, will bring their unique blend of instrumental and psychedelic compositions to the Gallery, alongside visual atmospheres and animations created by local filmmaker James Greatrex, in a tour-de-force performance which is sure to leave its mark on the Gallery and all those in attendance.
Opening for the Nooks is Kingston’s up-and-coming new super group, Magic Jordan, back for their second performance at Modern Fuel, and ready to captivate their audience once again.
Doors open at 9pm. Tickets available at the door (21A Queen St.).
