    Call for Applications: Operations Director

    Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre is seeking a motivated and organized individual for the full-time position of Operations Director at the Centre, to start at the beginning of April 2017.

    We would like to thank Taylor Norris, our current Operations Director, for all of her hard work with the gallery, and congratulate her on her new position as Public Art Coordinator with the City of Kingston!

    We deeply appreciate the energy and enthusiasm that she brought to the position, where she was instrumental in fostering the many community partnerships and collaborations that allow Modern Fuel to continue with our current level of programming. She has been a pleasure to work with and we wish her the best with her future endeavours.

  • Public Recordings Performance Projects

    Modern Fuel is pleased to host Public Recordings Performance Projects for their upcoming performance series 'what we are saying: the radical possibility of a leaderless togetherness,' which will run from October 4-6 (8pm each day) in our Main Gallery. 

    An intimate and expansive composition of sound and movement, what we are saying is a performance that presents the conditions of bare utterance. 

  • Call for Participants: Rebecca Anweiler Animal/Séance

    Rebecca Anweiler will be exhibiting her piece Animal/Séance in the State of Flux in July 2017. For this work, she is hoping to collect information from people who wish to provide subjects for an 'experiment' on animal telepathic communication.
