![]() The Union Gallery is looking for emerging artists who are in transition between post secondary education and professional practice to participate in a project entitled ART SHIFT. The goal of the project is to foster excellence in all aspects of professional art practice by providing a framework in which young artists work with established artists, in a mentoring relationship, to develop both practical and critical aspects of their art practice. The project will consist of three components; a mentoring program, a public presentation in the form of an exhibition at the Union Gallery and a publication. Mentors will be drawn from the existing pool of experienced (mid and late career) artists in the Kingston region and matched with emerging artists.
