At her passing in 2004, Kingston artist Nan Yeomans left a large part of her estate to the Community Foundation of Greater Kingston, intending the proceeds to fund scholarships for promising young artists and artisans. It is due to this act of generosity that Modern Fuel, along with the Community Foundation of Greater Kingston (CFGK) and Nan’s Legacy Project is proud to announce the establishment of The Nan Yeomans Grant for Artistic Development.
