Modern Fuel Welcomes New Admin Director

Modern Fuel welcomes Bronwyn McLean as the Incoming Administrative Director. Outgoing Director Jessica Rovito is leaving the Centre to pursue graduate studies at the University of Toronto. She will miss being involved in Kingston's arts scene and Modern Fuel will miss all the energy and enthusiasm she brought to the Centre.

Modern Fuel would like to extend a warm welcome to the newest members of its Board of Directors: Ted Rettig and Anna Elmberg Wright.

R.C. Aitken has always lived in Kingston, Ontario. He enjoys working in different mediums, including photography, oil, watercolour and acrylic painting, as well as working in wood and in clay. Aitken has taken several workshops, seminars and classes in different mediums and has taught basic photography courses at different locations within the city. The artist enjoys all four seasons for doing artwork and has an interest in different subject matters. Aitken has traveled extensively throughout Canada, the United States and Great Britian.

Raffle Winner Announced

Modern Fuel was fortunate enough have Ms. Wendy Huot working on the beautiful, hip, and friendly website you see before you. Ms. Huot generously donated her time and expertise to helping Modern Fuel freshen up its web-based identity.

In the next couple of months, Modern Fuel will be updating the content on the website to include a complete archival listing of all past Modern Fuel shows, more information on the Nan Yeoman's Art Library, and of course, updated programming and event listings.
