The course is being taught by administrative director Denise Love who has over five years experience teaching children's art and is first aid trained. Topics include: sculpture, painting, tote bag stamping, soapstone carving, photography and much more! Sign up by Wednesday each week to guarantee a spot in this fantastic program!

Unfinished Art Sale

As artists we've all done it...bought supplies for an art project and never got around to starting or completing it. Why let these items clutter up your workspace? Bring them down during our office hours Tues-Sat 12-5pm by our new deadline of July 7th at 5pm for donation to our Unfinished Art Sale. We are also accepting unread books, video/computer equipment and unwatched videos.
Then come to the sale Saturday July 14 12-5 to pick up some new project ideas!

Annual General Meeting

Modern Fuel's Annual General Meeting for the 2011-2012 fiscal year will be held at the Gallery on Friday June 15th at 6pm. The AGM will be a brief, 90 minute meeting so we hope all our members come out.

Fuel Your Chakra

Attention all yoga enthusiasts and the yoga curious, and lovers of contemporary art!

Modern Fuel is a Reelout Community Sponsor for "Hannah Free" Jan. 31

Come out to see "Hannah Free" at 7pm on Sunday, January 31 at the Ellis Auditorium on Queen's campus. Modern Fuel is one of the community sponsors for this Reelout event. It's more like they're sponsoring us! It will also be a great opportunity to see "We Become Our Own Wolves," a video produced by Jessica MacCormack during a Modern Fuel residency in the summer of 2007, for those who haven't seen it, and for those who have, to see it again.
