About the Event

Join us at the Broom for the opening of Noah Scheinman’s White Pine Travels: At The Broom Factory. There will be free events all day, starting with workshops at noon and culminating with a 7:30 pm screening of ECOTONES and a selection of NFB shorts, including:


  • WILD RICE HARVEST KENORA (Alanis Obomsawin, 1979, 1 min)

  • MOBILIZE (Caroline Monnet, 2015, 3 min)

  • SMALL SMOKE AT BLAZE CREEK (Michael Scott, 1971, 9 min)

  • TREASURE OF THE FOREST (Roger Blais, 1958, 12 min)

  • ATTUNED (Steve Verreault & Sébastien Dave Tremblay, 2020, 4 min)

  • BLUE SUNS (Chloe Leriche, 2010, 5 min)
