Modern Fuel Members' Only Call for Submissions - Window Gallery, April 2023
Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre invites members to submit works for a solo exhibition opportunity in our Window Gallery this April 8th until May 27th 2023.
Modern Fuel facilitates the presentation, interpretation, and production of visual and time-based arts. Our exhibitions engage with an array of approaches to contemporary aesthetics, and cover a broad scope of conceptual, formal, socio-political and cultural questions.
We welcome submissions in a wide variety of mediums, including sculpture, painting, photography, video (with no sound), and short poems that we can print on vinyl. See our Past Window Exhibitions at modernfuel.org/past.
The deadline to submit is by March 1st. The successful applicant will be notified right away by Modern Fuel. In an effort to provide as many opportunities as possible, artists are not eligible to present more than one solo exhibition in a two year period. If you are selected for the Window Gallery and have also submitted to our Annual Call for Submissions for 2024, we will be in touch to discuss options.
Please note this is open to Modern Fuel members only. If you would like to become a member or need to renew your membership, please visit: modernfuel.org/become-a-member.
Applications will be assessed by a jury of staff, board directors, and community members. Members of the jury will remain anonymous.
