Battery Park, Waterfront Pathway, Kingston, ON K7L 0A1, Canada
About the Event
We will be led by local sculptor and installation artist Andy Berg  as she walks us through Battery Park and considers the space as it could have existed pre-colonial contact, and as it exists today. She will then lead a discussion regarding the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action and how they influence her artistic practice, specifically in her most recent work GDOO NAAGININAA- OUR DISH a mural creation in collaboration with Queen's University's Department of Psychology.
This will be an outdoor event - be sure to dress appropriately and bring blankets to sit on. We'll meet at the three benches near the compass rose at Battery Park. If the weather no longer permits, we'll meet at Modern Fuel in the Tett Centre at 6PM.
